School & Main Institute (SMI), founded in 1986, is a service-driven, non-profit organization specializing in providing highly collaborative education, training, and technical assistance.

SMI implements and manages national multidimensional, multi-year technical assistance, training, and capacity-building efforts. SMI’s partnerships include state and federal agencies, foundations, and other mission-driven organizations.
